School and University Events

Schools and universities can organize events at the Nesin Mathematics Village during the autumn, winter or spring months. These events can be for a few hours or days depending on what is required. Applications are welcome from primary schools to high schools, from universities to youth groups. Please write to Aslı Can Korkmaz at aslicankorkmaz@nesinkoyleri.org to apply and to set dates.

Fees and accommodation

Fees are 16 EUR per person for a one-day event, and 26 EUR per person per day for multiple-day events. This includes accommodation and 3 meals per day, including tea.

For schools, one teacher can stay for free for every  8 students in the group, to ensure there are enough adults to look after the groups especially when they are minors. We may be able to accommodate tour guides or drivers but this depends on availability at the time – we are only able to guarantee accommodation for teachers and students.

Students stay in 10-12 person dormitories and teachers stay in 1-2 person en-suite rooms.

Fee waivers

The Mathematics Village is a non-profit organization. For this reason, if a student is unable to attend an event due to economic reasons, please let us know and we will do our best to help.

Transportation and Field Trips

Transportation to and from the Village is not included in the price mentioned above, and is the responsibility of the school or university to arrange.

If you would like to organize a trip to local attractions or the beach during your stay this is also separate from the above price.

However, we can help arrange transportation and field trips, please write to us to arrange.

Rules and regulations

• There is a minimum participation number of 20 students to organize such an event.
