3-9 August 2026 (Arrival on August 2, departure on August 9)
Short Film Lab is a 6-day intensive filmmaking camp centered on visual storytelling and hands-on production. Participants work collectively to develop one or two short films from initial concept to final screening. The program balances structured instruction with practical exercises, encouraging participants to explore cinema as a visual language while learning the fundamentals of directing, cinematography, editing, and storytelling.
No prior professional experience is required; however, participants are expected to be motivated, curious, and actively involved in all stages of the process. Participants are encouraged to bring their own cameras, phones, or laptops if available, though this is not mandatory.
The purpose of Short Film Lab is to guide participants through the complete filmmaking workflow—idea development, scriptwriting, visual planning, production, post-production, and screening—within a collaborative and supportive environment. The camp aims to strengthen visual thinking, cultivate creative collaboration, and provide practical experience in transforming ideas into finished films. Emphasis is placed on learning through practice, discussion, and reflection.
English conversational level is favorable for this camp.
