Abstract: This course covers fundamental topics in probability, including probabilistic distributions with both discrete and continuous cases, enumeration, permutations, combinations, binomial enumeration, and normal random variables. It also introduces selected limit theorems, such as the Central Limit Theorem and the Law of Large Numbers. In the statistics theory, the course includes linear models, hypothesis testing, estimation of central parameters, point and interval estimation, properties of estimators, and likelihood-based methods. Classical hypothesis testing procedures such as the t-test and chi-square test are covered, along with concepts of p-values, Type I and Type II errors, and confidence intervals.
