Abstract: An interpolation problem consists in finding a function that maps prescribed input values to corresponding output values. The problem becomes interesting when the function is required to belong to a specific class. In this course, we will discuss several classical interpolation problems in complex analysis in which the interpolating function is holomorphic. In particular, we will focus on Nevanlinna-Pick and Carleson interpolation by bounded holomorphic functions. In studying these topics, we will employ a range of tools from complex and functional analysis.
