Title of the course: Discrete Stochastic Processes on Graphs
Instructor: Mr. Arif Mardin
Institution: Retired
Dates: 31 August – 6 September 2026
Prerequisites: Participants are expected to be familiar with probability on discrete spaces, random variables on them, as detailed in the contents of my previous week’s course.
Level: Advanced undergraduate and graduate.
Abstact: The course will be focusing .on some important stochastic processes on d-dimensional lattices: simple random walk, Polya’s theorem, self-avoiding walk, percolation and branching processes on Bienaymé-Galton-Watson trees.
