Abstract: Real-world complex systems such as ecosystems, societies and neural networks relate to most aspects of our everyday life. These complex systems are often made up of components, called nodes, which interact through an intricate – and usually dynamic – network. Synchronization phenomenon over these interaction networks commonly appear as transitions of the collective behavior in the system. This course is an introduction to the theory of synchronization of dynamical systems with hands-on applications using Python programming language.
