Abstract: Remarkably, linear dynamical systems (and not only non-linear ones) can exhibit “chaotic” behaviour. This was demonstrated in the 20th century with the introduction and study of hypercyclic operators. In this course, we will explore this notion as well as the dynamics of linear operators more generally.
