Abstract: This will be a rapid lecture series on paradoxes and illusions. The aim is to introduce and give solutions to as many paradoxes as possible that appear in logic, mathematics, physics, and philosophy. We start off by discussing the differences between the concept of contradiction, paradox, dilemma, and illusion. After articulating the motivations behind the laws of thought, we move on to discuss some known paradoxes in a rapid fashion. The course will be accessible to anyone with basic knowledge in logic and mathematics.
