Title of the course: Introduction to Dynamical Systems

Level: Graduate
Abstract: We will introduce the main concepts and key ideas of dynamical systems and show how dynamical systems ideas are pervasive and play a major role in many branches of sciences. We will focus the exposition to one dimensional systems. The goal is to start from the classical deterministic ideas for dynamical systems and discuss how the probabilistic point of view of a deterministic dynamical system can provide an insightful description of the dynamics.
