Abstract: The main question discussed will be: what are the objects of study in mathematics? More precisely: what are numbers, sets, and structures? I will talk about some recent trends in philosophy of mathematics, especially those that emphasize the importance of model theory. I will not assume that students who take the second course took the first one.
